Community Screening Found 0 Cases On 4th Of January Of New Coronavirus Positive Cases in Xi'an

Unfortunately, Xi'an, this ancient cultural city with a history of more than 5,000 years, detected several positive cases of new coronavirus on December 9, 2021. Due to the simultaneous occurrence of multiple transmission chains, the city had to implement  lockdown policy since 23rd of December.

From 0:00 to 24:00 on January 4, there were 35 newly confirmed cases in Xi'an. Compared with the high number of new cases for several consecutive days, there has been a significant decline.

 Of these 35 newly confirmed cases, 30 cases were found in isolation control, 1 case was found in closed area screening, 4 cases were found in control area screening, and 0 cases were found in community screening. 

The significant decline in cases found in community screening is also an important signal that the overall trend of Xi'an's current round of epidemic has shown a downward trend and the effectiveness of early prevention and control has appeared.
